At 28 years old, Bernard has lost some teeth and is having difficulties eating...

1. He barely has any teeth left...

Bernard is a donkey born in 1995, who we took in two years ago, as his owner could no longer look after him. Unfortunately, over time, he has lost many of his teeth. Today, he doesn't have enough left to properly chew his food.

2. With moistened pellets, he could regain his strength

By feeding Bernard softened pellets, we could reduce the risk of him getting an esophageal obstruction and choking. He could then replenish energy every day without any difficulty, allowing him to make it through until spring!

3. The snow is going to set in...

Currently, the temperature is very low and the rain is freezing, implying that it's about to start snowing. We will need to bring the most vulnerable animals indoors and provide them with additives. However, the pellets are very expensive... we won't be able to do it without help!
