1. He fell seriously ill after losing his mistress...

Chagadou, a 5-year-old cat, had a traumatic time following his owner's death (he was left to fend for himself with her for several days after her passing).

This intense stress triggered Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP), a severe and often fatal illness. Despite an initially grim prognosis (his belly and lungs were full of fluid!), Chagadou survived after three months of intensive care, but he did sustain gastrointestinal complications...

2. Blankets would help soothe him

A batch of blankets could significantly improve Chagadou's quality of life, providing a soft and comforting space for him to rest.

Not only would the blankets offer warmth and comfort, but they could also help to alleviate his stress and instil a sense of security, crucial for his emotional and physical well-being in this delicate recovery phase.

3. Abandonments are on the rise, but not adoptions...

Our association is facing increasing pressure, with a large number of sick animals needing costly care.

People's reluctance to adopt these animals, coupled with a surge in the abandonment of older or sick cats, is heightening our constraints... Not to mention that our feeding areas are becoming more and more spread out, which only adds to our difficulties!
