Ferdinand is a three-week-old calf, who would have ended up at the slaughterhouse if we hadn't taken him in. He was separated from his mother at a young age and deprived of her milk. We bottle-feed him, but he is weak and limping.
In due time, Ferdinand will require pellets along with his formula milk. With their balanced composition of essential nutrients, they would provide everything he needs for his continued growth.
Tasty and easy to digest, such supplementation would permit him to wean off gently. Getting a full dose of vitamins and minerals would allow him to develop healthy muscles, and grow up in good health.
At present, nearly 200 animals are relying on us, including around a hundred cats and many farm animals. There was a substantial number of abandonments this year, and sadly, donations have plateaued.
Our financial situation is becoming very precarious! Your assistance would be invaluable in helping us to meet the needs of our small charges.
