Sage is a cat of around seven years old who was tragically thrown out of a building window one day. He sustained injuries to his hip, which subsequently left him with considerable difficulty in walking. This places a significant hindrance on his daily life as he now dwells in a car park...
Sage's mouth is filled with sores. Chewing on dry cat food has, therefore, become a painful or even impossible task for him!
A moist and palatable food like canned food would be the perfect solution for Sage. It would facilitate the supply of essential nutrients without causing him any discomfort while chewing.
Additionally, this could be a viable means to administer him medication, aiding him in regaining health. We could provide him with the food in a secure location, preventing him from the need to hunt, and consequently, sparing him any potential risks.
Our association constantly grapples with financial challenges. These issues were further magnified in the aftermath of the severe winter, which dealt a significant blow to our budget. Indispensable purchases of food and equipment for our charges drove us into substantial deficit!
At present, we are taking care of about ten cats in foster homes and overseeing five feeding sites... Our capability to accommodate more is entirely exhausted!
