Injured and old, poor Emile can no longer chew to feed himself...

1. He has a facial injury!

Emile is a cat of around fourteen years old, who we found five years ago under a trailer, in a terribly poor state of health.

Since then, he's lived outdoors and gotten into many fights. Recently, he developed an abscess under his eye which became infected, causing his left side of the face to swell. He's currently receiving veterinary care to treat the infection.

2. He doesn't have any teeth...

Following a bout of calicivirus, it was necessary to remove all of Emile's teeth. He can't chew food anymore. Because of this condition, nobody wants to adopt him...

3. Canned food would help him healthily regain his strength

Specially designed canned food for elderly cats would provide Emile with a diet suited to his condition.

This food, usually high in essential nutrients and softer to chew, would be much easier for a toothless cat to consume. It would allow him to maintain a proper balance diet while reducing the risk of pain during meals.

4. It's a dead-end!

Our association is facing many financial and logistical challenges. Store collection drives are not enough to meet our needs. Donations are becoming increasingly rare, forcing us to limit our sterilisation, vaccination, and even basic care activities such as de-worming...

With around a hundred cats to feed and rising veterinary costs, we can no longer welcome new animals, except in the most extreme emergencies! We are asking for your help as we are at a dead-end!
