Pregnant and suffering from colic, Pépita needs supplementation!

1. She had colic whilst being pregnant...

Pepita is a 13-year-old donkey, who we saved from the slaughterhouse. Though currently pregnant and in a slightly precarious state of health, her condition has improved under our care.

Recently, Pepita suffered from colic! Therefore, we have to monitor her closely to prevent further complications, for both her and her future foal.

2. Pellets would support her through the remainder of her pregnancy

Pellets would be beneficial for Pepita, especially during her pregnancy. They would provide her with a concentrated source of essential nutrients, helping to maintain her health and that of her unborn foal.

Such supplementation could also aid in keeping her weight in check, and prevent additional health issues such as colic.

3. We are beginning to become overloaded!

Founded in May 2023, our association is confronted with substantial costs, particularly in the area of veterinary care. We are currently responsible for 26 equines, who also need large quantities of hay!

With limited financial resources, we are often forced to delay our payments. With other regional associations likewise under strain, we are continuously receiving new requests for assistance... we are struggling to keep up!
