Oliver has spent his life chained up and now struggles with multiple health issues...

1. He's been abused!

Oliver is a 16-year-old dog who has spent his life chained up. Today, he is extremely weakened. We have therefore taken him under our care, to look after him during his final months and to ensure he doesn't suffer needlessly.

2. He is nearing the end of his life...

Oliver has a testicular tumour, arthritis, and dental problems. As he also has a heart murmur, no operation is possible. The vet has prescribed him painkillers so he won't feel a thing.

3. Canned food would help us support him in his old age

Canned food suitable for older dogs could provide Oliver with a diet that's easy to eat despite his dental problems. Such a diet would brighten his spirit and bring comfort, all while helping him regain strength day by day.

4. We are increasingly struggling!

As an organisation, we are living through extremely difficult times. We are facing a rise in animal suffering and a significant decrease in assistance, which is both exhausting and demoralising!

Despite the distress and high costs that rescues entail, we can't remain indifferent to animal suffering. Organisations like ours are in crisis, battling rising debts and a pervasive sense of helplessness...
