1. She suffered from abuse and neglect!

Penelope is a 13-year-old dog who was rescued from a shelter in Reunion Island following abuse, and who then spent two years in a pound before being repatriated to mainland France...

Due to a lack of appropriate care, she arrived starving, very thin and in poor health.

2. She suffers from a particularly severe disease...

Penelope has tested positive for ehrlichiosis, a bacterial disease transmitted by ticks. This infection has affected her liver and kidneys to the extent that she had urea. We therefore administer treatment, in the hope of helping her to get better.

3. With canned food, she could regain strength healthily

Suitable canned dog food could provide Penelope with essential nutrition tailored to her age.

Such a diet would provide the necessary nutrients to support her immune system, facilitate her digestion and allow her to gain weight, all while considering her specific medical conditions.

4. We are increasingly helpless!

As an association, we are going through extremely difficult times. We are confronted with an increase in animal suffering and a significant decrease in aid, which is both exhausting and demoralizing!

Despite the distress and high costs that rescues represent, we cannot remain indifferent to animal suffering. Associations like ours are in crisis, struggling against growing debts and a generalized feeling of powerlessness...
