Mammary tumours, damaged teeth, tired heart: Zelda needs a suitable diet!

1. She's been mistreated and neglected!

Zelda is a 13-year-old dog who was rescued from a Reunion Island shelter due to abuse, and then spent two years in a pound before being repatriated to mainland France...

Due to improper care, she arrived with damaged teeth. We therefore took her to the vet, who provided her with dental care.

2. She has mammary tumours and will need surgery...

Zelda has multiple mammary tumours. Given her age and everything she's been through, her heart is delicate. We're currently doing all we can to boost her strength, so as to be able to surgically remove her tumours under the best conditions possible.

3. With canned food, she could gain energy prior to her operation

Suitable canned pâté could provide Zelda with vital nutrition, appropriate for her age.

Such a diet would give her the necessary nutrients to be fit before her tumour surgery, and subsequently to regain strength throughout her recovery.

4. We're increasingly hard-pressed!

As an association, we're facing incredibly hard times. We're dealing with a rise in animal suffering and a substantial drop in assistance, which is simultaneously exhausting and disheartening!

Despite the distress and high costs that rescues impose, we simply cannot ignore animal suffering. Associations like ours are in crisis, wrestling with growing debts and a pervasive sense of powerlessness...
