Parasitic disease, damaged teeth, thinness... poor Bianca has been lacking in care and food!

1. She has suffered abuse and lack of care!

Bianca is a 13 year-old dog who was rescued from a shelter in Réunion due to neglect and abuse. Following her rescue, she spent two years in a pound before being relocated to mainland France...

Due to a lack of appropriate care, she arrived extremely thin, with damaged teeth. We immediately took her to the vet who provided her with dental care.

2. She is suffering from a severe parasitic disease...

Bianca has tested positive for heartworm disease. This slow-progressing disease can be lethal: the presence of a worm in the heart can cause congestive heart failure and result in the death of the animal if left untreated.

Bianca is therefore undergoing antibiotic treatment, to eliminate the parasite causing her ailment. But all of this is very exhausting for her...

3. With canned food, she might regain some strength

Canned dog food suitable for her condition could provide Bianca with essential nutrition, tailored to her age.

Such a diet would offer the necessary nutrients to strengthen her immune system, facilitate her digestion and allow her to regain weight, whilst taking her specific medical conditions into account.

4. We are increasingly desperate!

As an association, we are facing extremely difficult times. We are confronted with an increase in animal suffering and a significant decrease in aid, which is both exhausting and demoralising!

Despite the distress and high costs of these rescues, we cannot remain indifferent to animal suffering. Associations like ours are in crisis, battling growing debts and a general feeling of helplessness...
