Mozart is a four-year-old cat that we rescued in a horrifying state when he was just a kitten. Since then, he's been suffering from chronic cat flu, despite the treatments: his eyes are constantly running, his nose is full of pus and he's terribly skinny!
Mozart also has a severe case of calicivirus, which is causing him ulcers in his throat. To ease his pain, the vet administers regular corticosteroid injections. But this affects his stomach and occasionally causes him to have diarrhoea…
Canned food specially designed for cats suffering from diarrhoea would be perfect for Mozart. Rich in highly digestible nutrients, they would help regenerate his intestines. And as they are wet and appetising, he would have no problem consuming them.
The health of the animals is getting worse... We've had several cases of typhus and feline infectious peritonitis!
With all these vet fees, it's increasingly challenging to raise the funds to keep feeding the 400 cats who depend on us. Many are out in the streets, we can't just abandon them!
