Stomach tumour, Lyme disease, babesiosis... poor Pavot is dealing with a whole host of health issues!

1. He has a stomach tumour…

Poppy is a large, 22-year-old horse. Sadly, he's developed an inoperable stomach tumour, and suffers from major intestinal issues. He is entirely unable to digest grass…

2. He has two chronic diseases!

Poppy also has Lyme disease (transmitted by ticks) and chronic babesiosis. Heavily weakened by these two disorders, he tends to lose state and weaken more and more.

3. Pellets would help him regain weight

High-quality, easily digestible food like pellets would provide Poppy with the nutrients he needs. We could grind them into mash for him, allowing for faster absorption. This way, he could replenish his energy and gain some strength despite the diseases assailing him.

4. Our capacity has hit its limits!

Our association is facing a tough situation, with an increase in abandonments. We’ve had to suspend the intake of new animals, as our capacities are stretched to the limit!

Currently, we're caring for 8 horses, 4 cats, 3 dogs and a rabbit, and we're extended to our limits in terms of time and financial resources to effectively manage all these individuals...
