1. She was starved for food…

Mamie is an elderly ewe, who was left stray. She was starved during her pregnancy which led to nutritional deficiencies. The lamb that she has given birth to is therefore tiny and quite thin…

2. Pellets would help her regain strength

A complete meal, like pellets, would make sure that Mamie's nutritional needs are met. Her deficiencies would gradually disappear, and she could slowly regain her strength to take care of her lamb, and we would supplement its feed as well.

3. There are always new mouths to feed…

Since the cold weather has settled in, our workload has increased significantly. The animals require more hay to sustain themselves. Moreover, we are also taking care of five pregnant ewes who were left stray… Lambs are being born left, right and centre!
