Chamaroux is a cat of about 8 years old, whose mouth is damaged by a calicivirus. Due to the inflammation of his gums and his broken teeth, he drools and struggles to eat dry food, as he can no longer chew.
Moist and appetising, canned paté would allow Chamaroux to feed despite the state of his teeth, and would provide the essential nutrients he needs to regain his strength.
Chamaroux lives outdoors, at a feeding site where he has no shelter. Facing heavy rains, he tries to find refuge in basements, but always ends up being chased away by the residents.
Being exposed to the elements in his condition only weakens him further... We are very worried about him!
With a cat house, Chamaroux could go somewhere well-protected to shield himself from the humidity and the elements. He wouldn't need to sleep on the ground in all weathers, and could finally get some thorough rest.
The association's situation is currently catastrophic. We are dealing with epidemics of calicivirus and typhus, which are causing our various costs to skyrocket: between the treatments, the specific food and the blankets... our budget just can't keep up!
