Following a calicivirus, poor Akou no longer has any teeth!

1. He can no longer chew…

Akou is a 14-year-old cat who was suffering from sore gums due to a calicivirus. The vet consequently removed all of his teeth, which helped to alleviate his pain. However, he can no longer chew his food! Living outdoors, this makes it incredibly difficult for him to find food that he can swallow...

2. Canned food would help him regain his strength

Canned cat food, suitable for his age, would be a great benefit for Akou, offering him an easy-to-eat, moist diet. It could help him stay well hydrated while regaining his strength, which could aid him in overcoming his daily challenges.

3. The arrival of kittens is changing everything!
