Following a severe illness, Cleopatra has developed heart and lung problems!

1. She has cardio-pulmonary problems…

Cleopatre is an elderly cat who has had feline infectious peritonitis (FIP), a serious disease related to a virus.

She is about to finish her treatment but has long-term complications: she had water in her lungs and developed heart murmurs, which she will always have. For this reason, she now has to take medication for her cardiac issues and will need to see a cardiologist soon.

2. Canned food would help her to maintain her strength

Canned senior cat food would provide Cleopatre with a diet suited to her needs and facilitate her recovery. They would supply the necessary nutrients for her to regain energy, despite her health issues.

3. An epidemic is hitting the charity's cats!

We have had many sick cats, with about ten fatalities. Currently, we are dealing with an epidemic of FIP, on top of managing 75 cats, including many feral ones. The cost far exceeds our budget to provide them with care and food!
