We cannot let the 200 cats at Michèle's shelter starve!

Urgent! In Morocco, Michèle has almost no more kibble to feed her shelter's 200 cats. They will starve!

1. In Morocco, Michèle is almost out of kibble to feed the 200 cats in her shelter... They will starve if nobody intervenes!

%%%

"I currently have 200 cats at the shelter, and only 3 days of kibble! I see the stocks dwindling more and more each day, we are at the end of our resources. The worst part is that I am forced to refuse any new rescues, I have no choice, how can I take in a cat without being sure I can feed it? I imagine them outside, alone, hungry, it's terrible to say no and not be able to rescue them.

There are so many cats counting on me for their survival, but if I can't find kibble, I won't even be able to meet the needs of those I've already taken in at the shelter. Just thinking about it terrifies me, and this fear of not being able to feed my protégés grows as the little remaining kibble runs out.

I'm at a dead end, the cats and I need help! This collection is our last hope to get through this difficult period."

2. Without kibble, cats will lose their strength and fall ill: only the hardiest will survive...

###

"If I can't get kibble, the cats' health will quickly deteriorate. They will become weak, vulnerable to diseases that will inevitably spread. The weakest ones won't survive long like this.

It's a nightmare to imagine them suffering so much because of the lack of something as basic as kibble! I try to stay strong for them, but the anxiety is eating me up. The situation is serious, we need a solution urgently."

3. Abandoned cats are flocking in and kibble is running out, despite Michèle's constant efforts to obtain some.

###

"In recent months, the number of cats taken in at the shelter has increased dramatically. Abandonments are multiplying, births are not controlled, there are many reasons and the consequences are terrible. The resources, however, have not kept up with this wave.

I have multiplied the calls for help, approached all the suppliers, the stores, but it is clear that our kibble reserve remains desperately empty.

The few bags I manage to get through my efforts here and there can't even feed a third of the shelter's cats for a day! Neither the cats nor I can continue like this, we need more help..."

4. Michèle isn't asking for money, only kibble to keep the cats from starving.

###

"Having a shelter is a mix of responsibilities, joys, and sadness that blend continuously every day. I no longer have neutral or dull days, there is a constant intensity, for better or worse. Every animal that passes through the shelter door has a story, often marked by abandonment or abuse, and it's up to me to restore their trust and hope. It's a beautiful and rewarding mission that I never think I'll get tired of, but it comes with many sacrifices.

I don't want to sugarcoat what it means to have a shelter, it's bearing the responsibility of doing the right thing for dozens, hundreds of living beings, it's having to make difficult decisions constantly!

It's sometimes facing failure even when you've given your best. It's also confronting the misunderstanding or even the cruelty of those around us who don't share our passion. Yet, those who have lived this experience know that having a shelter is an immense privilege, and I would do it all over again without hesitation."

5. If this campaign succeeds, Michèle will not receive money but  1300 kg of kibble, delivered from Animal Webaction's logistics platform in Morocco.

Animal Webaction has a logistics platform in Morocco, which enables us to intervene quickly and deliver kibble.

6. Campaigns launched on Animal Webaction often fail.

When a campaign fails, Animal Webaction cannot deliver the products. The beneficiary doesn't receive anything and the buyers are refunded.

7. In Morocco, donors are scarce, and there are no foundations or subsidies. It is very difficult to find funding for kibble, many cats are left to starve on the street!
