1. She struggles to eat!

Kiki is an 18-year-old cat who lives outdoors. Over recent months, she’s been having a lot of difficulty eating. Despite two trips to the vet, her gum disease continues unabated and due to her age, tooth extraction isn’t an option.

2. Canned food would help her regain strength more easily

Canned cat food would be beneficial for Kiki as it’s easier to eat than dry biscuits. Moist and tasty, it would help her receive the nutrients she requires, without exacerbating her gum disease. As a consequence, Kiki would be in general better health, which would increase her chances of recovery!

3. Specialist food is beyond our budget!

We're just about keeping our heads above water, but our sick cats require a diet that exceeds our budget. The majority of our funds goes towards their care and neutering, leaving little leftover for anything else… especially since the cost of cat food has sharply risen!
