Attacked by a dog, infested with parasites and abused, Felix has gone through some very tough times…

1. He has lived under terrible conditions!

Felix is a 10-year-old dog that we brought back from Reunion Island. Over there, he was living in a shelter where he was poorly treated. He spent years without seeing daylight, amidst rats and worms!

Due to lack of care, he eventually contracted anaplasmosis and ehrlichiosis, parasitic infections that have damaged his liver and kidneys. We are now treating him to help cure this.

2. He had been disembowelled...

On Reunion Island, poor Felix was attacked by a dog when he was at the pound. He ended up being disembowelled and had to be operated on...

3. Canned food could help him regain strength

Canned dog food could help Felix regain strength and easily take his medication. Such food could help him regain his health, and offer much-needed comfort after the terrible hardships he has endured!

4. The situation is particularly difficult!

We conducted major rescue operations on Reunion Island some time ago, which resulted in substantial costs. Due to budget constraints, we had to halt any operations outside our province.

The situation is challenging, which is why we need help to provide suitable food for our small inhabitants in need...
