Mistreated and neglected, Pipa arrived with her ears in very bad shape due to repeated ear infections!

1. She has lived in terrible conditions!

Pipa is an 11-year-old dog, which we repatriated from Réunion. Over there, she lived in a shelter where she was mistreated. She spent years without seeing daylight, amidst rats and worms!

Due to the lack of care, she ended up contracting heartworm disease, an illness caused by the presence of a worm in the heart. She also has very damaged teeth, and had never been treated for this before arriving at our shelter...

2. She is constantly battling ear infections...

Pipa suffers from chronic ear infections. Due to this, her ears are becoming quite damaged... Sadly, none of the treatments we have tried to alleviate her pain are working at the moment.

3. Canned food could help her recover

Canned food could help Pipa regain her strength. It would be easier for her to eat than kibble, given the state of her teeth.

This type of food would help her recover better, and would greatly comfort her heart after all the terrible trials she has been through!

4. The situation is particularly tough!

We made significant rescues in Réunion some time ago, which caused a lot of expenses. Due to budget constraints, we had to stop taking in dogs from outside our area.

The situation is difficult, which is why we need help to be able to provide suitable food for our needy little residents...
