Suffering from calicivirus, Pepsi is struggling to eat...

1. His mouth is inflamed!

Pepsi is a cat of about 10 years. He has a calicivirus, which causes an ulcer on his tongue that results in excessive drooling and difficulties with eating. We are therefore administering antibiotic injections to relieve him.

2. With canned food, he could eat without pain

Canned wet food would be beneficial for Pepsi. It would facilitate his eating despite his ulcer and would help him restore his nutrient levels daily.

3. Our resources are very limited...

We encounter many cases of calicivirus among the cats we care for. With about forty tomcats to manage, we try to run collections, but life has become hard for everyone! Resources are limited whilst the needs are increasing...
