Stricken with calicivirus, poor Tigrou has very inflamed gums...

1. The inside of his mouth is inflamed!

Tigrou is a cat of about 11 years old. He has calicivirus, which is causing an inflammation in his mouth that hinders him from eating. We are therefore giving him injections of antibiotics and painkillers to relieve him.

2. With canned food, he could eat without pain

Canned moist pate would be beneficial for Tigrou. It would make eating easier for him despite the inflammation of his gums, and it would help him to regularly replenish his nutrients.

3. Our resources are very limited...

We encounter many cases of calicivirus amongst the cats we care for. Having to manage around forty tomcats, we try to organise collections, but life has become tough for everyone! Resources are limited whilst needs are increasing...
