1. In Morocco, Hajar has run out of kibble to feed the hundreds of cats she cares for in her shelter and on the streets. They will starve if no one intervenes!

%%%

"I have 240 cats in my care, split between the shelter and the street. It's been a week since I started reducing their portions of kibble, and the consequences are already visible.

Their immune systems are weakened, and they no longer have the strength to fight. Some have caught illnesses and respiratory infections, while others have diarrhea. They are weak and apathetic. I'm afraid they won't recover!

I've tried everything, but I'm out of options, and I've just emptied my last bag... I hope with all my heart that this campaign will succeed because without kibble, the lives of all these cats are at stake."

2. Without kibble, Hajar will no longer be able to help cats in distress, and they will be condemned to die on the streets.

###

"Without kibble, I simply won't be able to rescue street cats anymore. Those who are injured or sick will remain without care and risk dying. I will have no way to attract and capture them.

They will remain on the streets, left to fend for themselves, exposed to cars, malicious people, and other dangers. Their numbers will only increase without anyone being able to take them in.

Being forced to leave them in need, without being able to rescue them, will be very hard on me emotionally. Seeing them suffer without being able to do anything goes against everything I fight for. It is unworthy of the mission I have set for myself."

3. Overwhelmed by debts and bills, Hajar can no longer buy kibble.

###

"Bills are piling up, and so are the debts. It's impossible for me to restock on kibble right now. I've emptied my bank account and used up all my savings. Everything went into veterinary expenses for the sick cats and the abandoned kittens who need constant care.

I've tried to negotiate payment extensions and find solutions with suppliers, but I'm out of options.

The hardest part is seeing their bowls empty day after day without being able to fill them! They don't understand why I can't feed them like before, and I can't explain it to them...."

4. Hajar isn't asking for money, only kibble to prevent the cats from starving.

###

"I fight for all these abandoned, lost, and forgotten cats. Those who are discarded like worthless toys. Kittens abandoned in a box, an old sick cat left to her fate, an injured cat... The examples are endless.

I often feel alone, angry, and helpless in the face of so much distress. I wonder how some people can be so indifferent to the fate of these animals. That's why I created my shelter. A haven of peace, fragile and imperfect, but a beacon of hope for these animals.

It's an immense responsibility but incredibly rewarding. You learn to decipher their looks, understand their needs, and love them as they are. And if my actions can, in my small way, change people's perspective on animal welfare, then all these efforts will not have been in vain."

5. If this campaign is successful, Hajar will not receive any money but 1200 kg of kibble, delivered from Animal Webaction's logistics platform in Morocco.

Animal Webaction has a logistical platform in Morocco, which allows us to intervene quickly and deliver kibble.

6. Campaigns launched on Animal Webaction often fail...

Liste des récoltes échouées

When a campaign fails, Animal Webaction cannot deliver the collected products, the beneficiary receives nothing and the buyers get a refund...

7. In Morocco, donors are scarce, and there are no foundations or subsidies. It is very difficult to find funding for kibble, many cats remain starving in the street!
