1. In North Macedonia, Ivana is almost out of kibble to feed the hundreds of dogs she takes care of, at the shelter, on the streets and the dumps: they'll starve if no one helps!
"I see the stock of kibble diminishing each day, without knowing how to prevent it from running out. With only a few days of kibble left, I am already forced to stop feeding the dogs at the dump / the street dogs to preserve the little that remains for the shelter dogs. It's not an easy choice, and I endure it day after day...
Without kibble, I won't be able to ensure the survival of any of these dogs. I spend my life wondering how I will manage if we reach that point, and I haven't found an answer yet. We are at a dead end, and I sincerely hope that this campaign will help us get out of it."
2. At the shelter, hunger exacerbates tensions between dogs: without kibble, fights are inevitable!
"The dogs, already hungry for several days, are nearing a breaking point. Hunger is causing increasing tension among them, and they are agitated. Fights will be inevitable if we don't receive kibble soon.
This scenario is unbearable to imagine. It means that, in addition to hunger, the dogs will likely suffer painful and sometimes severe injuries. The weakest will be the most vulnerable and the hardest to protect...
No matter how much I want to avoid it, each day that passes without finding a solution to get kibble makes this vision more likely."
3. The accumulated debts are paralysing the shelter and Ivana: she can't buy any more kibble!
"Debts are piling up and preventing us from operating normally. Each unpaid bill, each missed payment reminds me of our current precarious situation... The causes are many: unexpected veterinary expenses, last-minute rescues, shelter maintenance... So much so that we've found ourselves trapped in a spiral of debt that paralyzes us.
I've tried to remedy the situation. Appeals for help on social media, searches for partners, sponsors... Nothing has worked. Responses are slow or never come. The consequences, however, are very real. I can no longer procure kibble to feed the dogs. Something urgently needs to work."
4. Ivana isn't asking for money, only kibble to prevent the dogs from starving.
"Animal protection is a mission of heart and courage. For years, I have dedicated my life to saving dogs, whether abandoned on the streets or abused by human ignorance. Seeing dogs suffer and struggle to survive breaks my heart; it always has, and that's what drives me not to give up. Sometimes, I feel the animals' pain as if it were my own...
The need to protect these animals goes beyond simple kindness or compassion; it's a matter of justice and dignity. And amid these trials, there are glimmers of hope that we must not forget: when we pay attention, they are always there, and they are invaluable sources of motivation."
5. If this campaign succeeds, Ivana will not receive any money but 1900 kg of kibble, delivered from Animal Webaction's logistics platform in Macedonia.

6. Campaigns launched on Animal Webaction often fail.
