1. In Morocco, Kawthar will soon run out of kibble to feed the 120 street cats who depend on her. They'll starve to death if nobody helps!
"I only have a few bags of kibble left, barely enough to last 2 days. I’ve been reducing the portions for a week to stretch the stock, and it’s clearly not enough. The cats are weakened, and some are starting to fall ill.
These cats live on the streets, exposed to all kinds of dangers. Hunger, disease, traffic, cruelty... Their daily life is a constant struggle for survival.
Without sufficient food, their immune systems collapse. They’re vulnerable to infections and parasites. I’m doing everything I can to care for them, but without kibble, my efforts are in vain!"
2. Weakened street cats don't stand a chance without kibble.
"The injured or sick street cats worry me terribly. They need kibble to heal and regain strength.
Without kibble, their wounds will get infected, their illnesses will worsen... Their immune systems, already weakened, will collapse!
It's truly torturous to know that a few bags of kibble could mean the difference between life and death for them..."
3. Indebted and at the end of her tether, Kawthar can no longer buy kibble despite her best efforts.
"Bills are piling up—at the vet and with the kibble supplier. I’m in debt everywhere. I've tried selling my belongings and reaching out to organizations, but I can't find a way out. The hardest part is that I can no longer buy kibble.
How can I feed them? I can see that they’re waiting and hungry. They meow and search the empty bowls… It’s unbearable to see them like this. They can only count on me.
Today, I don’t know what to do. I have no kibble and no money to buy more. If they don’t have food, how will they survive?"
4. Kawthar isn't asking for money, only kibble to prevent the cats from starving.
"My commitment to street cats is also a way to raise awareness among those around me and the broader community. It's about making people realize that these animals are not disposable objects but sensitive beings who deserve our respect.
Taking care of street cats has become second nature to me, a deep-seated need. A need to give, to share, to connect with these living beings who are so often marginalized. Changing people’s perceptions is a long-term effort, but every small seed planted, every conversation started, every act of compassion can make a difference."
5. If this campaign succeeds, Kawthar will not receive money but 1100 kg of kibble, delivered from Animal Webaction's logistics centre in Morocco.

7. In Morocco, donors are scarce, and there are no foundations or subsidies. It is very difficult to find funding for kibble, many cats are left to starve on the street!
