Weight loss, anaemia, lethargy… poor Mike was letting himself waste away!

1. He was fading away before our very eyes!

Mike is a six-year-old cat, who was living outdoors, at a feeding station. He was very thin and was slowly dying. We had him tested and the results showed an infection as well as anaemia. He is therefore now undergoing treatment, where he is receiving antibiotic care.

2. Canned food could help him regain strength

Cans of pate rich in vitamins may help Mike to replenish his energy levels. They would provide the necessary nutrients for him to regain strength and return to a healthy weight. A moist and appetising diet would also be easier for him to eat in his condition.

3. We are overwhelmed!

We currently have the responsibility of caring for around 150 animals. This always means many cats to look after, feed and care for.

Kittens are arriving from all directions! Not to mention the rise in living costs and increase in abandonment, which serve only to further complicate our already difficult situation…
