Roucky is a 10-year-old cat, living in the wild, at a feeding station. Dehydrated and listless, he was wasting away before our very eyes.
We had him undergo several tests, which showed he carries feline leukaemia and hemobartonellosis. The vet therefore prescribed a long-term antibiotic and anti-inflammatory treatment.
Cans of rich-in-vitamins pâté could help Roucky refill his energy tank. They would provide him with the necessary nutrients to regain his strength. A palatable and moist diet would also be easier for him to ingest, making it simpler for him to take his medication.
We are currently managing about 150 animals, which always means a lot of cats to look after, feed and care for.
Kittens are arriving from all sides! Not to mention the rising cost of living and increased abandonments, which only complicate our already challenging situation...
