Lynette is a nine-year-old cat that we took in as she was severely underweight. It turns out that she has kidney failure, which drains her energy significantly.
As her kidneys are no longer effectively flushing out toxins from her body, she's constantly thirsty! Hence, she's on medication and occasionally receives drips.
Blankets would provide warmth for Lynette in her twilight years. She could cosy up comfortably in them, providing her with much-needed rest.
