Exhaustion, fever, anaemia: Capucine has been struck down by haemobartonellosis!

1. She almost didn't make it…

Capucine is a one-year-old cat that we've had difficulty socialising. Three weeks ago, she was lethargic, with a high fever and anaemia.

The diagnosis of haemobartonellosis at an advanced stage placed her life in jeopardy. After a transfusion, she is under observation with an antibiotic treatment and cortisone twice a day.

2. Blankets would keep her warm

Blankets would keep Capucine warm as she recovers. She could comfortably settle in them, to benefit from the rest she needs.

3. The massive influx of kittens has disrupted everything…

We have so many kittens arriving that it's become impossible to respond to all the demands! Currently, we're managing about forty little ones. The situation is all the more complex because donations are at an all-time low…
