Due to a calicivirus, poor Arthur is having a lot of trouble eating!

1. The inside of his mouth is very inflamed...

Arthur is a 10-year-old cat, sadly suffering from calicivirus. Black crusts form around his mouth and his gums are inflamed, so much so that some of his teeth have fallen out.

All he has left are his fangs, but the vet can't remove them to relieve his pain as he has a weak heart, and might not survive such an operation.

2. Canned food could help him regain strength without pain

Canned food suitable for older cats could give Arthur an easy-to-consume diet, despite his missing teeth. This would be a chance for him to refill on vitamins, and stay fit despite his age!

3. Countless distressed moggies rely on us!

With inflation, it's hard to find partner shops for organising trolley operations. Donations are down, yet we have to take care of 250 cats, many of which are street cats or unadoptable.
