Five years old, Tao arrived at our centre two years ago after being hit by a car, inflicting serious injuries. With a fractured jaw and partial facial paralysis, Tao's heavy injuries still affect him to this day and hinder his chances of adoption.
Despite our care, Tao retains several physical and neurological aftereffects from his accident. His jaw remains fragile, and as teeth fall out, his daily life and feeding become more complicated.
A wet, soft diet, easy for him to consume, would enable Tao to eat without difficulty despite his dental issues. Canned food, rich in vitamins and nutrients, would provide him with everything he needs to stay healthy, notwithstanding his health problems.
We are being hit hard by the economic crisis, which complicates all our actions, particularly buying suitable food for all our residents. We would like to continue providing them with the best possible care, but we are barely managing!
