Femur fracture, pus-filled eyes, cat flu: poor Murphy was immobilised!

1. He was sick and left to fend for himself!

Murphy is a two and a half month old kitten, who was found by pilgrims on the Camino de Santiago. He was alone and disoriented as his eyes were filled with pus. We have since treated him for cat flu, but he is not immune to a relapse and remains significantly underdeveloped.

2. He had to undergo surgery…

When he was found, Murphy had a femur fracture. The vet therefore operated on him, and removed the head of the femur to allow him to regain use of his leg.

3. Canned food would aid his recovery

Canned kitten food could provide Murphy with a suitable and easy-to-eat diet. It would help him gain weight and catch up on his growth delay, while providing him with the nutrients he needs to thrive.

4. We are running out of resources!

With the proliferation of kittens, the situation is dire. Many of them are ill, which makes everything more complicated. Every day, we have dozens of animals to care for and hundreds of stray cats to feed, which drains our resources!
