In addition to canned food, this collection will allow Squeeze to receive a cat shelter if the goal is reached.
Squeeze is a two-year-old wild cat, suffering from neurological disorders of unknown origin. It is a handicap for him: his gait is very unsteady, which seriously impedes his mobility.
Canned food rich in proteins would be perfect to keep Squeeze in good physical condition. Getting a daily boost of vitamins would provide him all the energy he needs to cope with his disability.
Squeeze has remained very wild. He spends most of his time outside in a secure area, as he does not feel comfortable indoors. However, being exposed to all weather conditions weakens him...
With a cat shelter, Squeeze could take refuge in case of severe cold and bad weather. He would no longer sleep on the bare ground, and could recover more easily.
We are constantly encountering difficulties, due to the number of sterilizations to be carried out. The association actually manages nearly 1,000 wild cats, spread out over 30 feeding sites!
Our only income is from donations, which have significantly decreased... Our budget is therefore too tight to buy specialized food for the cats that need it.
