In addition to canned food, this collection will allow Pooket to receive a kennel if the goal is achieved.
Pooket is a four-year-old feral cat, who suffers from neurological disorders due to a virus transmitted by her mother at birth. This is a handicap for her, which is less disabling when she has a good physical condition and sufficient muscle mass.
High-protein canned food would be perfect to keep Pooket in good physical condition. Getting a daily dose of vitamins would provide her with all the energy she needs to live with her disability.
Pooket remains very wild. She spends most of her time outdoors, because she does not feel comfortable indoors. Being exposed to all weather conditions makes her vulnerable...
With a kennel, Pooket could take shelter in case of severe cold and bad weather. This way, she would no longer sleep directly on the ground and could recover more easily.
We are constantly dealing with difficulties, due to the number of sterilisations to be carried out. The association indeed manages nearly 1,000 feral cats, spread over 30 feeding sites!
Our only income comes from donations, which have significantly diminished…Our budget is therefore too tight to buy specialised food for the cats who need it.
