Nina is a cat of about ten years old, who the vet operated on to remove some teeth that were rotting at the roots.
The operation had to be stopped because Nina's heart couldn't handle the anaesthesia and she had a respiratory arrest!
Nina survived the operation. But she has a worrying mass in her gum, which cannot be removed as it would be too risky to operate on her again. We are waiting for the results of the biopsy to see if it’s a malignant tumour.
Canned food specially designed for older cats would provide Nina with easy-to-consume nutrition, despite her health issues. This way she could replenish her energy, while we find out more about her condition.
