Charlie is a cat of about eight years old who lives outdoors in a depot area. We have been feeding him for three years, but recently he has been looking more and more thin. It turns out he has kidney failure, a condition that tires his body out as it struggles to properly eliminate toxins.
Charlie also has gingivitis. The inside of his mouth is riddled with abscesses, which suggests calicivirus. We have a treatment to give him, in the hopes of providing some relief...
Kidney-friendly canned food would be beneficial for Charlie, providing him with a diet suitable for his health condition.
It would help to relieve his kidneys, while providing him with more nutritious meals that are easy to eat with his gingivitis. It would also be a good way for him to easily ingest his medications.
At the moment, we lack the means to cope with all the care requests. Our association is the only active one in the area, which leads us to manage several feeding points...
