Between cat flu and calicivirus, poor Rox is at the end of his tether!

1. He has a severe cat flu…

Rox is a cat of about four years old who arrived at the association suffering from a very virulent cat flu. Despite treatments, his eyes and nose continue to run, and he spends his time sneezing!

2. He struggles to eat…

Rox also has calicivirus, which makes it considerably difficult for him to eat dry food. His gums were so inflamed that it was necessary to extract some of his teeth!

3. Canned food could help him eat without pain

Canned, moist food would provide Rox with a palatable and easy-to-consume diet. It would be an opportunity for him to strengthen his immune system and replenish his energy, hopefully improving his overall health.

4. There are too few adoptions…

We are continuously receiving calls to rescue kittens, to the point that our capacity is straining under the pressure! The number of cats we care for continues to rise, but adoptions have significantly slowed down this year…

Furthermore, many of our cats are considered unadoptable, due to their underlying health issues or behavioural problems. Our resources are therefore coming up short!
