Moka was going to be sent for fattening up, even though he was still just a baby!

1. He was going to be killed for his meat...

Moka is a two-year-old Alpine goat, who was set to be fattened up for slaughter when he was only a week and a half old. We took him in to save him from the abattoir.

At the moment, there is little grass and the hay is not rich. Moka is therefore struggling to maintain his health, which worries us...

2. With pellets, he could efficiently regain his strength

Pellets would allow Moka to refill his vitamin and mineral levels. Receiving such a supplement would provide him with the chance to regain his health and approach the winter with peace of mind.

3. The season is not favourable for adoptions...

This summer has been particularly challenging. We have taken in many dogs and cats, victims of massive abandonments. With the sudden drop in temperatures, several animals have fallen ill and adoptions continue to be sparse...
