1. He struggles to eat...

Crevette is an old cat that we have taken off the street because he is not in good shape. He has inflamed gums and a large mass in his mouth, which hinders his eating.

Unfortunately, we cannot remove it for him, as he is too old and might not survive the procedure. We are therefore giving him treatment to alleviate the discomfort.

2. With canned food, he could regain his strength without pain

Canned food for senior cats would be easier for Crevette to ingest than dry kibble. It would give him a chance to take his medication and gradually restore essential nutrients. He could thus regain weight slowly, and live out his remaining days more peacefully.
