1. She suffers from cardio-pulmonary disorders…

Daisy is a nine-year-old cat, who has heart hypertrophy and pulmonary issues. These have been compounded and worsened by her obesity, placing her in a vicious cycle of health issues…

2. She has no teeth due to a calicivirus !

Unfortunately, Daisy has a calicivirus. To alleviate her discomfort, we had to extract all her teeth two and a half years ago. As a result, she cannot chew her food at all !

3. Canned food would help her regain some much-needed strength healthily

Canned, healthy and balanced food would help Daisy regain her strength without worsening her obesity. Easy to ingest and full of good nutrients, such a diet would be perfect for her !

4. A typhus epidemic has thrown everything into chaos !

This year, we faced a typhus epidemic which complicated our operations. We had to temporarily suspend our intake and spend heavily to replace contaminated equipment!

With around fifty cats in foster homes and as many stray cats spread over several sites, our resources are truly stretched thin…
