1. He was severely underweight!

First is a nine-year-old horse that we took in at the request of a vet. He was underweight as he had been wandering in search of food. It's crucial that he regains strength before winter sets in!

2. Pellets would help him regain condition

In addition to hay, pellets would help First to effectively regain weight. This would enable him to replenish his energy quickly, and pull through before the cold returns. It would be a real relief for him!
