Commandant is a 17-year-old Camargue horse, who we took into care following a seizure by the gendarmerie. He was left to fend for himself in a field, without any food... When he arrived a fortnight ago, you could see all his bones!
In addition to hay, pellets would enable Commandant to effectively regain weight. He could thus quickly replenish his energy, and be out of danger before the return of the cold. This would be a genuine relief for him!
