Exhaustion, dehydration, vomiting and diarrhoea: little Virgie has been completely knocked out by typhus!

1. She contracted typhus and had to be hospitalised…

Virgie, a two-month-old kitten, has contracted typhus. She was suffering from fever, vomiting and diarrhoea to such an extent that hospitalisation became necessary! She is currently recovering in a foster family, where she is undergoing various treatments.

2. Suitable canned food could help ease her symptoms

Canned food specially designed for kittens would help Virgie to effectively regain her strength. Easy to digest and rich in vitamins, this type of food would be perfect for her recovery! It would also be a good way for her to easily swallow her various medications.

3. The association is being hit by a typhus epidemic!

At present, we are looking after about thirty foster cats and another thirty as feral cats. We are facing a tough situation, with a steady influx of kittens.

Sadly, the typhus has even spread to the foster families! There have been several fatalities due to this disease...
