Baste was abandoned on the street with her kittens, while she was very ill!

1. She was ill and had to care for her kittens alone ...

Baste is a two-year-old cat, who was found on the street with her four newborn kittens. Poor Baste had a severe case of cat flu, and a lung infection! We quickly took her and her little ones into our care and treated her illness; without our intervention, she wouldn’t have survived for long.

2. Canned food would help her regain strength

Protein-rich canned food would aid Baste in regaining her strength after such an ordeal. It would provide her with valuable minerals and vitamins, helping her recover and strengthen further.

3. With puppies and kittens, we are overwhelmed...

The organisation is facing major financial difficulties, having had to take several litters of kittens and puppies into our care, without having a shelter. With animals of all ages to care for, our resources are stretched thin and we are struggling to meet all their needs!
