Riddled with worms and covered in maggots, Twix nearly didn't make it!

1. He was absolutely riddled with parasites!

Twix is a three-month-old kitten who was abandoned in a cemetery. He was infested with maggots and full of worms when we found him! We rushed him to the vet to get him the best possible treatment...

2. He has a significant growth delay...

Because of the parasites and lack of food, Twix hasn't grown normally. He is undernourished and only weighs 890 grams! It's absolutely crucial that we build him up to give him a chance to survive and to be adoptable.

3. Blankets would allow him to sleep warmly

In his condition, Twix could really use a set of blankets. They would provide a comfortable place for him to settle in and benefit from the rest so vital to his recovery.

4. The number of our charges is steadily increasing!

At the moment, we are dealing with a lot of emergencies especially with kittens and unusually high vet bills.

We have about twenty little ones waiting for adoption, but the requests are few and far between. In addition to the 24 kittens and free-roaming cats, we also have adult cats in foster homes... that's a lot of mouths to feed!
