Covered in fleas and injuries, Ghost was in a terrible state!

1. He was abandoned, living in squalid conditions...

Ghost is a one-year-old cat who was abandoned in a property by his owner. The place was riddled with fleas, to the extent that Ghost was covered in them...

He spent so much time scratching that he had sores all over his body! We therefore took him in, treated him for parasites and placed him with a foster family.

2. Canned food would help him regain his strength

Canned food would help Ghost start his journey to recovery. Such a diet would allow him to eat his fill, which would slowly bring him back to better health. It would truly be a comfort for him, after everything he has been through!

3. It’s not a good time for donations…

At present, we are looking after around thirty animals, all placed in foster homes, which requires a lot of resources… Unfortunately, we have noticed a significant drop in donations during October.

This lack of support makes our care work more challenging, whilst also limiting our ability to provide the necessities for each animal…
