Diana is a cat we found at a feeding site. She was skeletal, with abscesses on her legs and in her mouth! We had to hospitalise her for several days, provide treatment and extract her teeth that were falling out.
The mouth ulcers, abscesses and gingivitis were treated. But as she is a carrier of FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), she remains fragile. We therefore placed her with a foster family.
Canned nutrient-rich wet food would allow Diana to easily replenish her energy levels. Being able to eat to her heart's content every day would change her life, and would gradually allow her to regain a normal weight and improve her overall condition.
We manage numerous feeding points and struggle to find the means to feed all the animals there. We have taken in many sick and disabled young cats, who require significant care. But all of this is very costly, and we are struggling to keep up!
