Guilou is a five-year-old cat, whose immune defences are weakened as he is a carrier of FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Syndrome).
He is currently suffering from gingivitis and has a cough. Chewing dry food is impossible for him, as his gums are far too inflamed!
A batch of blankets could improve Guilou's comfort by helping him to better conserve his body heat during this winter season. This would limit his efforts to maintain his temperature and prevent any discomfort due to the cold.
Without volunteers or foster families, we are having great difficulty ensuring the care of animals...
The association looks after nearly 40 cats, with very few donations or grants to cover costs. Our expenses, especially veterinary bills, are becoming heavier and complicating our efforts!
