Left to fend for himself for too long, Polly arrived undernourished, with feet like slippers!

1. He has lacked care and food!

Polly is a pony of about 23 years old, who arrived with us at the end of September. He had never been seen by a farrier before: his slipper-shaped hooves prevented him from standing up properly!

We've taken him under our wing with regular visits to the farrier and the osteopath, to enable him to walk correctly again. He's also been undernourished, and now requires a tailored diet.

3. The veterinary costs are ever-increasing...

We are a sanctuary based in Brittany, which cares for farm animals and cats, often the sick, elderly or those at the end of their lives. The number of animals cared for is increasing, which is resulting in significant veterinary costs! We currently have 150 animals to manage, and are in need of support to continue our mission…
