In addition to canned food, this collection will allow Garfield to receive a cat house if the goal is met.

1. He's sick!

Garfield is a five-year-old cat, who has chronic cat flu. His eyes are pus-filled and his nose is completely blocked. He's exhausted!

2. Canned food would help him regain energy easily

Wet canned food could be of great help to Garfield. It would allow him to receive a balanced and easy-to-consume diet. This would also help to strengthen his immune system, weakened by his poor health...

3. He lives outside and has nowhere to shelter!

Garfield lives outside, at a feeding site. Being exposed to all weather conditions makes him weaker every day. With his health problems, we are worried for him, and we fear he might not survive the winter without shelter...

4. A cat house would protect him from cold and rain

The cat house that Garfield will receive as a bonus if his canned food collection is successful.

With a cat house, Garfield could keep well sheltered in case of very cold weather and storms. He will no longer need to sleep on the ground in all weathers, and could recover more easily.

5. There are many cats in need!

We always have many cats to manage, including about twenty within the association. We also have to manage over a hundred cats across different feeding sites, which represents a considerable number of mouths to feed!

Abandonments continue, and we take care of kittens, which complicates the situation even more...
